In the north west is the high mountain plateau of Ladakh, further west and south lie the deserts, palaces and forts of colourful Rajasthan, travel east along the Himalaya and you have the spectacular lush hills of Sikkim and Darjeeling and many of the world's highest mountains.
Travel to the southern tip of India and you find what lots of travel brochure claim as "God's Own Country" Our trips in India, focus on walks in Ladakh, Himachal, Darjeeling and Sikkim and we often combine these with trips with visits to the Taj Mahal and Rajasthan.
